Great day's kayaking with Hatt, did the upper section of the river Ouse and had a pub stop at the Anchor Inn - made for a great birthday activity. Definitely be booking adventures with Hatt again!

Fantastic 4 hours kayaking up the river in lovely weather (except for the first 15 minutes of torrential rain!). The kayaks were a bit too heavy for the children to be much help in carrying (aged 9 and 11), so it was heavy work for me and the instructor to get them to the river and past the sluice gate further up the river! They seemed to survive the kayaking extremely well, though! Tonnes of fun and beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great day out - eight of us including 4 teenage boys. Thankfully the weather was perfect- sunny and not too hot. Not sure how we'd have felt about 3.5 hours on the water in the rain. Good tuition. Make sure you're reasonably fit though as it's quite hard on the arms rowing for over 3 hours. And take some snacks for when you stop. We had 4 fruit pastilles between 8 of us and really wished we'd been more organised! Another tip would be to wear old clothes and shoes as you will definitely get wet - mainly your feet and legs. And you're likely to get muddy as you do have to get in and out of your kayak a couple of times on muddy banks. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic day with Tom who was very patient with one novice and three teenagers! Felt like we were with an old friend, relaxed and before we knew it Tom had us all paddling in a straight line. Beautiful stretch of the river and we managed to really appreciate the trip as well as having great fun. The highlight of our camping week, thank you.

Myself and 15 others went kayaking around the upper section of river Ouse - definitely recommended! The guides were really friendly and seeing the scenery from the river was really different, pub stop on the return journey was much appreciated. We'd definitely go adventuring with Hatt again :)

The kayak tour started with a very good introduction. For everyone quickly learned. The tour was on a lazy river where you can enjoy to the full nature of England. The tour can be guided through without problem when it rains, because you will be anyway a little wet after the tour. The guide of the tour is always happy there and has patience and is always ready to help with good tips. I would do this kayak tour again immediately, if i could.

I attended Upper Ouse River Trip today, and it was absolutely brilliant! Extremely well organised. Kitted up accordingly and then set about the river, although the river was high we made it to the Isfield Weir which was a beautiful sight. Tom was a great instructor giving tips all along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and the BCU award and will definitely be back for more! Thank you for a great day!

An excellent time. Tom managed to lead us down the river giving us a considerable sense of achievement whilst making it very laid back and making it the trip we wanted. Such a beautiful river. Thanks Hatt Adventures!
