The Pivot belay device promotes confidence and provides exceptional ease of use while keeping weight down to a featherweight 72 grams.

Additionally, the Pivot is designed to provide effective stopping power. This remains the case when it’s used either in guide mode or belaying from the waist. Traditional guide plates are often difficult to operate when lowering seconds, which reduces the user’s control over the speed of lowering.

Finally, the Pivot’s unique shackle resolves this issue by reducing the amount of force needed to initiate and adjust the speed of lowering. This creates a smooth, secure and safe belay process, increasing the confidence of both the user and the second.
