Lace up a pair of the Black Diamond Aspect Shoes and you’ll notice that the leather upper slightly covers the laces on the outside of the foot. This ingeneous design is specified to protect the foot during abrasive jamming.

Likewise, the shoe’s tongue is made from Engineered Knit Technology, which adds breathability and comfort. Also, the knit extends to the outside of the shoe to just under the rand line. Consequently, this offers extra padded protection for foot jams.

That’s not all! The lateral stabilizer rands increase precision by keeping the foot from rolling when pressure is applied to outside/inside edges. In addition, the Aspect’s stiff and durable rubber is features a unique technology. Specifically, it is mold-inspired by the way Black Diamond forge carabiners, and not cut from one sheet of rubber.
