The Petzl Jag System provides all the versatility and ease of use you’d expect from a Petzl designed haul kit. The Jag System is equally suited to pickoffs, making a releasable anchor or even tensioning a system, thanks to its impressive 4:1 mechanical advantage. When coupled with a Petzl I’d S Descender, the Jag System can also be used to make a reversible rescue kit to pick off and evacuate a victim in an emergency.
The Petzl Jag System is highly compact when collapsed, ensuring it can still be used when the distance to the anchor is very short. This compactness also has the advantage of making the Jag System exceptionally easy to pack and carry on long climbs. The flexible cover prevents any risk of tangling, making the Jag System quick and easy to deploy. The Jag system is available in lengths of 1, 2 and 5 metres, each of which is colour coded for instant identification.
