The Incredible versatility of the Harken SMC TerrAdaptor Portable Anchor System comes from the unique design of the head unit which allows the angle of each leg to be adjusted independently. This feature allows the head (and corresponding attachment points) to remain level even on very complex and uneven terrain or when set up in asymmetrical configurations that are often required in confined or complicated areas.
Only the TerrAdaptor transitions easily between monopod, bipod, tripod and even quadpod configurations – with the additional Quadpod Attachment Kit.
The TerrAdaptor system has been tested extensively in both lab and field environments. As a result, the TerrAdaptor Portable Anchor system in the standard symmetric tripod and quadpod configurations are the only systems of their kind to be certified by UL to NFPA 1983 incorporated in the 2022 Edition of NFPA 2500
