This five-day course is designed for those who want to take their winter skills to the next level. The goal is to perfect your hill walking and consolidate it across a range of conditions, locations and terrain types. Our highly qualified & experienced winter mountain leader will accompany you every step of the way. By the end of this course, you will have the confidence and knowledge necessary to begin setting out on your own winter adventures.

Winter walking safety equipment:
- Helmet
- Ice axe
Equipment needed
Personal hill walking equipment:
- *Walking boots (B2) + compatible crampons
- Personal winter clothing waterproofs etc.
*Winter walking boots can be hired from local outdoor shops for approximately £10 per day.
We will provide you with a full kit list upon booking.

Choose to collect your order on a course (free of charge) and your instructor will have it ready and waiting for you when you arrive.
Transport
Transport is not included, and you will need your own vehicle to access the various mountain ranges.
